Hi! My name is Michelle La Casse (She/Her), Professional Counselor Associate. I offer a safe, non- judgmental environment to be able to process trauma and issues that may be interfering with day-to-day life. I feel that counseling is a collaborative process. I use an integrative therapy approach by combining different therapeutic tools and methods to fit my client’s individual needs. I believe that there are multiple theories that can be explored for each client depending on their situation and identity. The main evidence-based theories that I utilize are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness. My role is to assist you in reaching whatever goals you may have set for yourself by providing compassionate support and helping to facilitate your journey in whatever form it may look like. I strive to empower you and assist you in expanding healthy awareness, rather than to give you advice.
I have training and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, group, and community settings in helping them to overcome challenges and become more self-assured.
